We help you tell your story through audio.

Branded podcasts, audio tours, internal communication, and more…

1. What?

We make podcasts and audio products for brands and organisations. Depending on the project, we can take care of the whole package – production, research, script, hosting, recording, music, distribution – or we can provide technical support or creative input, or even coach an internal team.

The audience for a podcast can be very specific. Like an internal employee podcast, a training course, or an audio tour in a city or museum. Communicate with your audience in the place where they already spend time: their podcast players.

2. Why?

These days, stories are often told through video. Nothing captures eyeballs quite like moving images. But making video is expensive, it’s resource intensive, and there’s a limit to the time we can spend watching screens in a day.

However, something magical happens when you remove the visuals. If you want to capture the imagination, target the ears. We spend an increasing amount of time listening to podcasts and audiobooks. On your morning run, on your commute, walking through a museum, while cooking or doing the dishes… There are plenty of opportunities for audio storytelling.

And that’s where Playbird comes in. We help you tell your story through audio.

Podcasts have a huge and growing audience, with higher brand awareness, consideration, favorability and purchase intent than other forms of media.

3. Who?

Playbird was founded by Lennart Schoors and Mei Van Walleghem, two long-time friends who started working together at a local radiostation over 15 years ago.

Lennart spent several years in digital strategy and design, and already published his first podcast back in 2006. Mei brings her strong background in communications and marketing to the table, looking at audio stories through a journalistic eye.

We are based in Ghent, Belgium, but we’re not bound by (language) barriers.

In their latest joint effort, Mei & Lennart went on a journey throughout Europe, in search of people who work for a better, sustainable future. Listen to the twelve episodes now at tomorrowpeople.today.
